Cancer Council Tasmania’s Launceston Cancer Support Centre offers a range of support activities and programs for people dealing with the impact of cancer from diagnosis, during treatment, and into survivorship.
The Centre is designed to offer a calm and inviting environment with relaxing lounge areas, quiet gardens for contemplation, and programs to support and encourage. The Centre offers a model of cancer support which focusses on psychosocial and psychoeducational services including emotional, practical, and educational support.
The Centre stocks a comprehensive range of evidence based resources and service information which are available at no cost.
Members of the public are invited to simply drop in at the Centre or contact us using the information below.

Interested in volunteering with our supportive care services?
Cancer Council Tasmania offers a range of volunteering opportunities to provide help, hope and improved quality of life for people living with cancer. Our volunteers welcome clients to our centres, support them to link with supportive care staff, and assist with programs and a range of centre tasks. We also have some roles for skilled volunteers to co-facilitate our cancer support groups.
