Transport to cancer treatment
Helping people affected by cancer get to vital cancer treatment
We understand that travelling to and from medical appointments can be difficult for many people affected by cancer. Where available, our transport to treatment services work with the local community and Cancer Council volunteers to help people get to their treatment. This includes transport from home or accommodation lodges to treatment or transport financial assistance.
Along with Cancer Council's Transport to Treatment service, many states and territories partner with other local transport services throughout the country. To find out about support services for people affected by cancer in your local area, get in touch with your local Cancer Council or call 13 11 20.
