Australian Cancer Atlas
Patterns of cancer diagnosis and survival across Australia
Where people live can have an impact on their health and even affect the likelihood of being diagnosed with diseases such as cancer. The Australian Cancer Atlas is a collaborative study that has been endorsed by the Australasian Association of Cancer Registries and Cancer Council Australia. The Atlas provides estimates for cancer diagnoses across more than 2000 geographical areas of Australia.
Look up your suburb or town to see how diagnosis and survival rates compare with the national average for the 20 most common cancers.
