Cancer can affect anyone. In Australia, one in two men and women will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85.
Cancer Council has developed resources with information about cancer, reducing your risk, diagnosis, screening and treatment in several community languages. These include booklets, fact sheets and videos.
For information and support in your language contact Cancer Council 13 11 20 and they can direct you to translation services. Alternatively you can call the Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS) on 131 450.
You can also consult a multilingual glossary of over 700 cancer terms in nine languages.
