Luke Atkin is the Cessation, Partnerships and Priority Settings Manager at Quit Victoria.
He joined in the organisation in 2008 after completing a public health fellowship at the Victorian Department of Health and Latrobe University.
He has worked in a variety of health roles across government, research, policy and evaluation with a focus on those most at risk, which has shaped his commitment to improving health equality for disadvantaged Victorians.
He leads a team whose focus is on supporting the creation of quit-friendly environments and building the capacity of organisations in priority settings to incorporate cessation advice and referral to other support into their everyday work.
Luke is also the Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Quit Group, and Chair of the Smoking and Disadvantage Network.
