End The Trend x St Jerome’s Laneway Festival ‘24

Festival season is on!

This February kicked off with St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, giving you all the best in local and international music in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland.

Since its inaugural event back in 2005 (in a Melbourne alleyway) Laneway Festival has now become one of THE biggest events on the Australian music festival scene, featuring some of the hottest local and international acts.

This year’s Laneway had a little extra…

It was all about channeling the usual epic Laneway vibes as well as sun safety. The End The Trend campaign partnered with Laneway Music Festival and hip-hop artist JK-47, so music lovers can safely enjoy live music outdoors.

The End The Trend campaign stand was abuzz with festival goers ‘slip, slop, slap, seek and sliding’ all day, taking advantage of freely available SPF50 sunscreen. Across the festival sites, hundreds of young Australians pledged to ‘End The Trend’ of suntanning in the knowledge that two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer in their lifetime. But that’s not all - a lucky few pledgers left the End The Trend stand after winning a VIP upgrade to go along with their free application of sunscreen!

Music has always been a powerful agent for change and this festival season is no different. The End The Trend campaign collaborated with multi-award-winning hip-hop artist JK-47 to lay down a dedicated summer sun protection music track, bringing Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide to a new generation.
