Colorectal cancer guidelines
Review and update of Clinical practice guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer
Cancer Council Australia was contracted by the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care (the Department) to review and update two chapters of the 2017 Clinical practice guidelines for the prevention, early detection and management of colorectal cancer, namely the chapters titled: Population screening for colorectal cancer, and Risk and screening based on family history. The process to update the chapters is now complete and the full chapter text will be available in the near future. The update recommendations and practice points from these two chapters can be viewed on our Clinical Guidelines microsite.
