If you have never been screened before, you would have been due for your first Cervical Screening Test after you turn 25.

If you have had a Pap test before the age of 23 you would have been due for your next Cervical Screening Test once you turn 25.

All women over the age of 25 in Australia should have already had their first Cervical Screening Test. If you are unsure about whether you have had the Cervical Screening Test or not, you should ask your doctor.”

Cancer Council recommends that women of any age who have symptoms (including pain or abnormal vaginal bleeding or discharge) should see their doctor immediately.
