David Swan

David Swan was Cancer Council Australia’s interim Chief Executive Officer, following the departure of Mark Nevin.  

David is a highly accomplished leader, with more than 25 years’ experience as a Chief Executive, leading major public and private sector health services, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of St. Vincent’s Private Hospitals. Mr Swan has been Authority Chair of Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council and Chief Executive of Department of Health SA.

David is familiar with and committed to the Cancer Council mission and we look forward to working with David to reduce the incidence and impact of cancer for all Australians.
