Application for Financial Assistance

Applications will only be accepted from a health professional directly involved with the client’s treatment plan, after the individual’s financial circumstances have been assessed as causing distress due to their cancer diagnosis.

• Approved payments will be made within 7-10 days of receipt of application.
• All clients will receive a follow-up call from Cancer Council Tasmania’s supportive care staff.
• Please note that a separate application is required for each person, even if they are part of the same family.
• Please note that we are unable to process financial assistance payments if the client is not willing to provide their bank account details for this form.
